I am Cyrus Santhosh, my names reflect the qualities of the sun and hence i relate with the light. In Sanskrit, I adopt the first name सुर्य (Surya) as it's a native name and fits better with grammatical standards than साइरस (Sāiras). You can write my name in devanagari as सुर्य संतोष (Surya Saṃtoṣa). In Malayalam, you can write my name as സൈറസ് സന്തോഷ്.
I am from the land of Cheraḷam (Kerala), retrieved from the sea by Paraśurāma. I descend agnatically from the Ālakkapaḷḷil clan of pepper-trading gentry of the Kingdom of Thirvithamkoor (Travancore). I speak English, Malayalam and Hindi to conversational fluency due to me spending the first 13 years of my life around India.
What do I believe in?
I come from a line of St. Thomas Trading Christians, with both branches of my family being Malabar Catholic. My father had me join the Orthodox church after I was born. I have abandoned the faith of Christianity as it is foreign, and doesn't fit with my value system and beliefs. I have adopted the Hindu faith of my far ancestors and have deep respect and reverence for the Vedic Pantheon. I would say I'm a very religious man.
I believe in many things. I'm a Romanticist, Idealist, Traditionalist, neo-luddite, and a fundamentalist. I believe in the Gods, Natural Order, Heroism, True Love, and Spiritualism. I believe in Nietzsche's idea of morality, I believe in Kaczynski's predictions, I believe in prophecies about the end of time.
What are my plans?
Diverging paths, I want to either be dead by 26 or live to 100. I plan on going to law school and do a legal practice as a means to achieve the funds for a more spiritual and rustic path of living. If Plan A doesn't work out, or a war breaks out with a cause that I believe in, I will drop everything to fight. I believe that all ideals are useless if you aren't willing to put your life to it.
After achieving adequate funds, I will purchase a large estate of land in Coastal Karnataka or Kerala where I will make a Kerala-style illaṃ and live with my family. I plan on owning horses, cattle, and grow crops. I want to have 3 children, who I will teach English, Malayalam and Sanskrit and teach them religion and philosophy at a young age. After I'm dead, I wish to be creamated or buried in my property.
